Outsourcing activities started with the liberalization period and industries burgeoned around the late 90’s. The dot com boom started around this same period and the world witnessed the emerging of a new trend in terms of computers. The same period witnessed a bunch of players emerging from India namely TCS, Infosys, Wipro, HCL Tech and the list goes on. They had the technical expertise and the ability to offer technology solutions at a lower cost when compared to other European and American nations.

India is able to produce technically sound professionals thanks to the elite educational institutions. India remains to be the land of opportunities when it comes to IT operations. Apart from the Indian companies, there are several other MNCs who have started their operations vigorously here such as Microsoft, Google, Facebook, Accenture, IBM, Logica etc. Bangalore city is often synonymous with the “IT” operations and has replaced Buffalo in the world of software dictionary.
